I grew up in the West Texas area, spending most of the
time on ranches and repairing anything I could get my hands on. I opened up the engine of a motorcylce at 4 years old (without permission) put it back together and it still ran.
I joined the US Navy at age 20, and spent four years traveling the world as an engineman, running two of the main propulsion diesel engines on board the USS Comstock.
Married my wife at age 23 in San Diego Ca., and moved to Northern Arizona in 1994. I worked in the constuction field until 2008 when the housing market crashed, then went to work in industrial cleaning in power plants until the bottom fell out of that as well.
In 2011 we moved back to West Texas and I took a job in the oilfield. In 2015 at my wife's persistence I started Odessa Sewing Machine part time.
I went full time in sewing machine repair in 2018, built my own website for the business and it has continued to grow every year since.
I would like to thank all of my customers, if not for you I would not be where I am today. It has been a real pleasure helping people to keep their machines running.
